Before showing the method to clients, we used it on ourselves. This website was built with Vibe Coding: AI wrote much of the code, and our team made the decisions, reviewed and tested every step.
The problem
The previous website did its job, but it no longer showed who we are today. It used a generic font, had no dark mode and was only available in Portuguese.
It also missed the main point: explaining, in plain words, how we work with AI and why that is good news for the people who hire us.
What we built
- A static website built with Astro 7: quick to load and simple to maintain.
- Portuguese and English, with its own address for every page and a button to switch language.
- Dark theme by default and an optional light theme, both with checked contrast.
- The caravel in code: the ship from our logo drawn on a canvas, with a static fallback when reduced motion is on.
- The "Watch an idea take shape" demo, which shows the method step by step.
- Our own design system (colours, typography, components) underpinning every page.
How it was built
In phases. In each one, AI did the building while people made the calls, reviewed and tested before moving on.

Foundations
Design system, typography, dark and light themes, the two-language structure and the first components.

The caravel in code, the "Watch an idea take shape" demo, services, method, FAQ and contact.

The outcome
A website that presents VirtuLuso in two languages and two themes, and shows the method instead of just describing it.
Each phase was built with AI and reviewed by people before moving on. We measured the homepage with Lighthouse in mobile mode, and the JavaScript it loads stayed small.
